On behalf of the AC Perugia Grifos, the trainers, coaches and administrative staff we WELCOME, Dee Szatkowski (Shavertown, PA), Kalah Burger (Lancaster, PA), Morgan O’Brien (Orefield, PA), and Nikki Dunlap (Reading, PA) as the newest members of the U15 Grifos. Dee as you all know an extremely solid defender has transferred from the secondary ranks to join the team as a primary player. Kalah will help fortify our tuff defense, and Morgan and Nikki bring two technically talented ball handlers to the Grifo offense. The addition of these four girls make the Grifos even better in 2008/2009!
U-15 Girls welcome another new player! (3-1-2008)
On behalf of the AC Perugia Grifos, the trainers, coaches and administrative staff we welcome, #9 Jess Casper (North Wales, PA) as the newest primary U15 Grifos. Jess’s addition to the Grifos brings versatility as a player who can step in on both sides of the field defensively and offensively. Jess a stand-out Super Y-League ODP National pool player represents one of three players who has transferred from the secondary ranks to the team as a primary player in 2008.
U-15 Girls welcome Stephanie Vargas! (3-19-2008)
On behalf of the AC Perugia Grifos, the trainers, coaches, and administrative staff we welcome Stephanie Vargas (Allentown, PA)as the newest primary U15 Grifo! Stephanie brings fortification to the Grifo Keeper position, where she will join Goal Keeper SarahBeth Kolodziej. Stephanie has attended multiple keeper sessions this winter and also shared time in our recent Super Y-League Delaware Friendly with Keeper Brianne Henry in the net. She has received great marks from trainers Hector Uribe, Rob Berkowitz, and Director/Coach Mike Composto. Stephanie demonstrates good field awareness, and has excellent ball instincts. In addition to becoming a Grifo she also joins the team for Super Y-league play. Stephanie comes from the Lehigh Valley Extreme U16 team. She is also a keeper for Central Catholic HS this season.
