HISTORY: Fall 2002 U13 at the time, the first try-out was held for the Perugia System in the , as it turned out our current U17's were the first Grifo team to take the field.  As time went on players came and went and returned and currently we have (Nelson, Muir, Dunay, Flugel, Composto and Miller) 6 original players currently on the team.  The team has made many new additions over the years and continues to grow and gain experience.  Our current team is comprised of players from all over North Eastern Pa and New Jersey, from all different HS districts from Pocono West to Emmaus, from Moravian to Stroudsburg, this great mixture of players and personalities makes the team what is.  In 2006 fall the Grifos will play their league soccer in PAGS Premier playing in the Under 19 Division, the team has numerous showcase events scheduled (visit our schedule link) and off field events that is notorious on this team.  From this team we have see payers progress and move on to bigger horizons, our goal Keeper Zabaldo plays for the WPSL side the Lady Laurels, while one of our former player Carlie Gallagher has just been selected for the U15 National Pool and departed for the Home Depot center in California.  The Grifo girls are always looking for players and if you are interested please let us know, you will find our atmosphere, our staff and our players most enjoyable and professional.  So please send an email to info@acperugiausa.com to let us know your interest.   "We will see you on the PITCH"
