The GRIFOS want to welcome the RAGE to their growing family. The Rage and
Perugia have come together and are currently working together to bring the highest level of soccer to the NEPA area.
Derek Broadley (Technical Director) of the Rage and Michael Composto (Technical Director) of SUSC/Perugia have brought these two fine organizations together for USL Super Y competition, player development, coaching development and training camps in North East PA.
Asking Composto his thoughts on the relationship!
“We are very excited to have this opportunity to be part of the USL Super Y program, it is important that our players who can play at this level have a chance to do so. My meetings with Derek have been impressive and educating, both our organizations operate our clubs similar to the European models and we share many of the same theories this is important. The only difficult thing is Derek is a fan of the English Premier league, however I am slowly convincing him that the Italian Serie A is were the real soccer is played.”
Derek Broadley expressed his excitement over the relationship. "There are many good things to come with our programs and working together will make both organizations stronger and a great place for growing footballers. Regarding Mike’s comments on the EPL and Serie A, I think Mike needs to stay away from the VINO (wine)!!!!!!!!!! "
